Taggiasca are probably the very best olives in the world

Taggiasca olives are a variety all of their own. They grow in the northern Italian region of Liguria on the Italian Riviera, where the climate is mild and sunny. Taggiasca olives are small, but very flavourful and fruity. They have a light nutty taste and are known as some of the very best olives in the world. The variety is also known around Nice in France, where it’s called Niçoise olives or Caillettier.

Zelected pitted Taggiasca olives come from Italy. Taggiasca olives are delicate and have a mild flavour with a hint of nuts. They’re perfect for salads, tapas and more.

Here you’ll find the best table olives

Olives are a Mediterranean delicacy, and the flavour can vary a lot—from mild black olives to slightly bitter green ones. Olives are great as snacks, essential on a tapas board, and an exciting ingredient in countless dishes.

At Zelected Foods, we think life is too short for boring olives. We believe there are far too many dull, forgettable olives out there. It’s simply hard to find proper quality olives on the shelves. That’s why we’ve travelled around the Mediterranean countries and tasted loads of different kinds of olives. We then carefully selected and put together a range of olives, so you can taste the best table olives, grown and harvested in the very best olive groves in the Mediterranean region.

Greece, Italy and Spain in particular are known for their great table olives. A wide range of local olive varieties is grown, but there’s a big difference in where the olive trees grow and how the small fruits are processed. We’ve selected the most exciting ones for our range and can offer a broad spectrum of flavour notes. We’d love to inspire you to taste some of the many exciting types of olives out there.
